Looking for a National Development Coordinator

American Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro (AFOBIS), seeks a National Development Coordinator to support a broad range of fundraising and do12nor relations activities.
Beit Issie Shapiro (BIS) is Israel’s non-profit innovation leader in the field of disabilities, inclusion and social change, that provides services to children and adults with disabilities.

This is a New York based, hybrid position that requires two in-person workdays per week in the New York City office and occasional travel to in-person meetings and events in the Tri-State area.
This role reports to the VP of Strategic Impact/East Coast Director and works in close collaboration with VP Philanthropy/West Coast Director, US administrative team and the global development team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in planning and implementation of fundraising activities – provide administrative and logistic support for meetings and events.
• Operate CRM system and web-based giving platforms to support fundraising activities – input, track and report on events, campaigns and donors.
• Support tracking of financial activities.
• Oversee day-to-day milestones and timelines for projects.
• Other tasks and projects as determined by direct supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
• A passion for the mission, vision, and core values of the organization
• At least 3 years of experience working in a nonprofit
• Experience working with CRM databases and Microsoft Office software
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Team player, action-oriented, proactive, entrepreneurial, flexible and adaptable; able to thrive in a nimble, fast-paced, global organizational environment
• An exceptionally high level of excellence, integrity, accountability, and judgment
• Keen interest and some understanding of Israeli society; k0nowledge of Hebrew an advantage
• Available to work across multiple time zones including Pacific and Israel time, as needed
• Available for occasional travel within the US (5-10%)and potential travel to Israel once per year
AFOBIS offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, as well as a generous time off/holiday policy. Salary commensurate with experience, in the range of $65,000-$75,000 per year.
